Hotel review : ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Osaka
We stayed at ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Osaka when we travel to Osaka and Kyoto.

About hotel
It is one of the IHG group hotels, although it is named “ANA”.
That is because the hotel is co-owned with ANA.
The hotel is located in-between Osaka Umeda station and Yodoyabashi station, Osaka underground Midosuji-line(Red line).
The nearest station is Oebashi(大江橋) Station by Keihan Electric Railway, which is a newly built, clean one.
If you come here from Itami(ITM) airport, not Kansai(KIX) airport, you can :
The hotel also provides a shuttle bus service between JR Osaka station and the hotel.

You could walk from Osaka station though, it takes about 20 mins passing through Kita-shinchi where lots of “Kyabakura” are open at night time.
The room is like this :
It was clean, however not a new hotel.
The view in the room was not so good, as I booked with cash & points, also I’m not an elite member…
However, they let us in even though it was before check in time.
How to connect to Wi-Fi
You can select ‘CrownePlaza’ SSID.
No password is needed.

Downloading : 5.07Mbps
Good connection.
No problem for uploading and downloading images.
Conclusion
I used to live in Osaka and Kyoto in 2000, lots of things have changed since then.
I thought a little about whether I should become an elite member of IHG, but I gave up on the idea because it is not worth it.
There is less opportunity to use them and the benefits are less attractive for me…
