本来は2020年から実施予定だったのですが大変な状況だったので延び延びになり、結局2021/7/1から開始となるようでしたが、更に延期となり2021年6月現在、開始の目処が立っていません。
この変動制について、改めて考えてみました。

変更概要
どの時期がオフピークでどの時期がピークなのかについては、各ホテルの客室の稼働率によって決まるようです。

また、毎年の見直しはありますが基本的に、一度その年のピーク日/オフピーク日が決定したら、その後の変更は無いようです。
ここは、常に変動しているマリオットとは異なる点で、ある意味安心できますね。
そして、どの日がピーク日/オフピーク日なのかが一目でわかるカレンダーも提供される予定です。

日本のホテルは、変更はありませんでした。
まとめ
グローバリストとしては引き続き、カテゴリ7のオフピーク日に宿泊する(25,000ポイント)のがお得であるのは変わらなそうです。
ドバイのパークハイアットドバイなんかも、真夏のとても暑い時期なんかはオフピークで宿泊できるでしょうから、わずか17,000ポイントで宿泊できます。
(2021年現在、パークハイアットドバイはカテゴリ5)
限りあるポイント、有効に使いたいですね！
