個人的に好きなKLMオランダ航空(KL)ですが、KLはスカイチームというアライアンスに属していて、同じスカイチームメンバー内のフライトでマイレージの相互利用・獲得ができます。
KLはそれ以外にも独自に提携を結んでいる航空会社があって、それらの航空会社に搭乗した場合でもKL(FlyingBlue)上級会員の特典を受けられたりします。
今後KLには何度も乗ることになると思うので、その提携航空会社についてもしっかり調べておこうと思いました。

スカイチームメンバー内での例外
実はスカイチームメンバー内でも、提携に関してちょっとした注意点(例外)があります。
大韓航空(KE)の座席は、国際線区間出発日の30日まえから座席の指定が可能です。
中国系の航空会社・中国東方航空(MU)および中国南方航空(CZ)においては、場合によっては乗り継ぎ便においてスルーチェックインができず、一度降りて再度チェックインしなければいけない可能性があるそうです。
デルタ航空(DL) / サウディア(SV)についても、全てのフライトでチェックインはできるものの(国際線からのフライトを除く)アメリカ/サウジアラビア国内線乗り継ぎのフライトに関して、荷物については一度降りて再度預けなければいけないそうです。
面倒ですね。
またスカイチームメンバーでありませんが、エールフランス航空(AF)のグループ会社であるJoon(JN)は基本的にAFと同じ扱い、トランサヴィア(HV)はマイレージに関して、トランサヴィア・フランス(TO)運航以外のフライトでは獲得でき、利用に関してはHV, TOいずれのフライトでも利用可能です。
KLグループ会社のシティジェット(WX)については、基本的にKLと同じ扱いです。
まとめ
こうしてみると、KLの提携航空会社は結構ありますね。
ちなみにKLには、2019年のバースデーフライトで搭乗することが決まっています 🙂
また、日本 – AMS線などで展開されている、ビジネスクラスの食事もいつか食べたいなぁと思っています。
