シンガポール航空(SQ)は何をするにも料金が高めなので、お金をかけないとなかなか快適なフライトができません。
ですがSQは最近、有償航空券の購入に際して座席指定の料金を下げる改善を行いました。
座席指定料の料金体系と、改善についてお伝えします。

座席指定が有料となる運賃
SQのエコノミー・プレミアムエコノミークラスの運賃体系は
・Economy Lite
・Economy Standard
・Economy Flexi
・Premium Economy
という感じになっていますが、座席の場所や足元の広さによって運賃ごとに有料/無料が異なってきます。
有料/無料の料金体系はこんな感じになっています。

なお、有料か無料かについては、SQの上級会員かどうかによっても異なります。
・SQシルバーメンバーは、普通の座席を指定する場合には無料
・SQゴールドメンバーは、普通の座席と前方の座席を指定する場合には無料
・PPSクラブメンバーは、広い足元の座席を指定するところまで無料
PPSクラブのメンバーはさすがに優遇されますね。

座席指定料の割引
そして、今回実施された割引は、
・SQヒラ会員 : 5%オフ
・SQシルバー : 10%オフ
・SQゴールド : 15%オフ
座席指定の料金は、移動距離によって異なります。
まとめ
今回の改善は、純粋に改善で不利なものではありません。
それでもSQ搭乗・SQ上級会員になるにはお金がかかるのは変わりませんが・・・^^;
