カタール航空(QR)が、マイレージ利用の予約について改善を行いました。
多くの提携航空会社特典の必要Avios数を引き下げ、ブリティッシュ・エアウェイズ(BA)のAviosと同水準にしました。

必要Avios数
2022年、カタール航空(QR)はAviosを採用し、QRマイレージの会員はAviosをBA, イベリア航空(IB), エアリンガス(EI), ブエリング航空(VY)のAviosに自由に移行できるようになりました。
ですが、その際は航空会社向け特典の必要Avios数設定を調整しませんでした。
これが提携航空会社の新しい特典料金表です。
この料金は、バンコクエアウェイズ(PR)、LATAM航空(LA)、ミドルイースト航空(ME)、ルワンダ航空(WB)、ヴァージン・オーストラリア(VA)、およびすべてのワンワールドメンバーの特典フライトに適用されます。

残念ながら、これらの特典を実際に発券するのは難しいままです。
QRのAviosをアメリカン航空(AA)またはBAのフライトに利用する場合を除き、QRのウェブサイトから提携航空会社の特典を予約することはできません。
QRに電話をする必要があります。
ただ、このウェブページから「特典航空券を予約する」を選択すると、提携航空会社のフライトスケジュールを見ることができます。
まとめ
QRの必要Avios数が改善されたため、場合によってはBAでJL国内線を予約する時にお得となるケースが出てきました。
JLのBKK線ファーストクラスは、必要Avios数は同じです。
BAの特典チャートと完全にイコールではないので、抜け穴を見つけることができそうです。
ただ、電話が必要なのでちょっと手間ですが。
注意点として、QRの特典航空券では途中降機はできませんが、オープン・ジョー特典航空券の予約は可能です。
