About hotel
ibis Tokyo Shinjuku is one of Accor hotels brands, apart from here there are 3 ibis hotels in Japan :
The appearance :
The lobby :
There is a restaurant(café) at lobby floor called “RENDEZVOUS” :
I took my breakfast there :
It costed JPY1,300 that I think it’s a little bit expensive considering its variety.
If you fancy some hamburgers, there is a hamburger shop on the ground floor called “the 3rd Burger” :
I ordered mozzarella bazille burger, which tasted nice.
You can enjoy a juicy patties.
The room is like this :
Bathroom(small) :
Mini bar(Fridge) :
Nothing in there.
The points I got
I got 1,104 points for the stay.
I registered a campaign that can earn 3x Iberia(IB) Avios, and it was automatically transferred to my IB account.
How to connect to Wi-Fi
You can select ‘ibis_shinjuku’ SSID.
No password is needed.
Speed
Uploading : 5.50Mbps
Downloading : 3.33Mbps
It was quite good, bit slow when I kept using the internet at night time.
I suppose many people used the Internet during the night time.
Conclusion
Although the network was slow at night, the hotel itself was okay generally.
As it is a budget hotel it costed less than JPY10,000.
Please note that the room is very small and you could hear the neighbour’s, can’t be helped with this price though.
I think the price is also good for the “Hotel stay run”, to get the elite membership of Accor Hotels.
