About PR

Philippine Airlines(PR) doesn’t belong to any alliances, whilst they have a partnership with ANA(NH) and Etihad Airways(EY).

You can earn NH air miles by taking a PR flight.

For instance, the booking class “K” will be credited 70 % of flying distance for NH.

If you fly Nagoya(NGO) – Cebu(CEB) for return flight, you can earn :
　
(1910(NGO-CEB) + 1910(CEB-NGO)) * 75% = 2865 miles

For business class “Z”, you can earn 125 % for NH :

(1910(NGO-CEB) + 1910(CEB-NGO)) * 125% = 4775 miles

It is a bit cheaper price compared to other carriers; it would cost JPY292,490.

MNL – TPE – KIX

It is also cheaper than the others by JPY10,000.
It would cost around JPY75,000 using China Airlines(CI) and EVA Air(BR).

NH is more expensive and costs JPY150,000…

Conclusion

For Japanese people the route KIX – TPE would be familiar.

Although it is not surprisingly cheap, it will be worth considering if you want to earn NH air miles effectively.
