ホテル概要

クラウンプラザチューリッヒは、Hardbrücke駅から歩いて10分くらいのところにあります。

ロビーは、こんな感じ。

レストランの入り口です。

IHGとフランチャイズホテルとの契約の中に、ホテルが上級会員にしなければいけないことがいくつかあるようで、その中に

と言わなければいけない、というのがあるようです。
　
なのでこれもチェック項目に入れてみようと思います。
　
クラウンプラザチューリッヒでは言われなかったのですが、自分がそもそもダイヤモンドメンバーだと認識されていなかったようです。
　
ダイヤモンドメンバーの特典は何ですか、と聞いて初めて認識したようで、

どちらも付けてあげる、と言われましたが、結局ポイントは付きませんでした。
　
ウェルカムドリンクは、ハウスワインかビール、ノンアルコールドリンクです。

部屋

部屋は、こんな感じです。

机の椅子は、なんだか少し傾いていました。

ベッド横に、お水が置いてありました。

一応スリッパはありました。

レストラン

朝食は、ロビー階のレストランでいただくことになります。

スクランブルエッグ

ホテルに宿泊した際、必ず食べるのがスクランブルエッグ。
　
各ホテルで食べ比べを密かにしているのですが、食に関しては(原材料や産地以外)全く興味のない自分が、個人的に採点してみたいと思います。
　
クラウンプラザチューリッヒのスクランブルエッグは、こんな感じ。

卵の塊で、バターの味はせず、単調な味でした。
　
大量に取ると飽きてしまうので、少しでいいかな。

クロワッサン

マルセイユのソフィテルで食べたクロワッサンがあまりにも美味しすぎて忘れられず、クロワッサンもホテル毎に食べ比べをすることにしました。

クラウンプラザチューリッヒのクロワッサンは、こんな感じです。

大きいが、バターの香りはほとんどせず。
　
小麦の匂いはしたものの、スカスカ、パサパサでした。

ミューズリー

ホテルに宿泊する際にもう一つ必ず食べるものがありますが、それがミューズリーです。
　
ホテルによっては置いていないところもありますが、それでもとりあえず聞いてみることにしています。
　
クラウンプラザチューリッヒのミューズリーは、こんな感じです。

オーツとベリー、フルーツが混ぜてありました。
　
甘くないです。

WiFi接続方法

Crowne PlazaというSSID(ネットワーク名)があると思うので、それを選択しましょう。

部屋番号と名字を入力し接続完了です。

通信速度計測結果

上り 55.86Mbps
下り 31.08Mbps
　
スムーズに利用することができました。

まとめ

このホテルはビジネス向けで、ファミリー向けではない感じです。
　
サービスも、値段不相応。
　
スイスの物価でだいぶ価格が押し上げられていますが、その価格とサービスの質が伴っていません。
　
ちょっと失敗したかな・・・。
　
ヨーロッパのクラウンプラザに宿泊するときは、相当な有氣が必要です。
　
朝食の会場で、スタッフが妻に対してとても失礼な態度だった、と怒っていました。
　
と言うことで、またクレーム文を作成していました。

テキスト欄をスクロールしなければいけないくらいの、長文です。

I stayed here last week and the rooms were pretty poor with regards to quality especially when you consider the price. Zurich is expensive however, so this I could accept.

I am a diamond member which wasn’t recognised at check in, nor was it communicated to other staff as a perk of diamond status is late check out. The housekeeping staff entered the room at 09:55 to quiz us on when we would be leaving.

What really made me want to write this review was the lack of options for allergy sufferers or those with dietary restrictions. To add to this, when enquiring about whether there was any vegan options available, my wife was rudely responded to by the guy in the apron serving eggs. He abruptly stated that there was nothing other than what was out. Which incidentally had about a quarter of the items empty and needed refilling. He did not even attempt to try and help her find something to eat. We come from Japan which nationally has very few commercial vegan products and yet in hotels, special effort is made to accommodate guests of all backgrounds, be that because of religion, allergies or other reasons. Even the allergens are listed on signs. It is far from perfect in Japan but one would think in a country such as Switzerland where many options are available in supermarkets, that hotels would have options for breakfast. Basically she only drank coffee because even the bread had butter in it. This hotel falls very short of the IHG standard I am used to. In the UK for example, we stayed again with IHG and the breakfast chef was so helpful with which products were suitable for vegans. He went to the kitchen to check in the freezer to see if anything was suitable and then brought the ingredients list out for her to inspect. He then cooked the products she chose and brought them to our table. The chef in Zurich was rude and uncaring as if being vegan was offensive to him.
