インターコンチネンタルホテルなど、素敵なホテルブランドを展開しているIHGですが、2019年に入ってポイントによる宿泊の必要ポイント数の変更(改悪)がありました。
去年も同じ時期に、ポイント数の改悪がありました。

変更(改悪)概要
IHGは実際のホテルの稼働率と照らし合わせて頻繁にポイントによる宿泊の際の必要ポイント数を変更していますが、今回は世界のホテルのほとんどのところで、ポイントが増加しています。
日本のIHGグループにも変更があったのですが、すべてポイント増となっています。

まとめ
今回、世界700くらいのホテルで変更がありました。
インターコンチネンタルホテルでポイント減となったのは中国にあるいくつかのホテルとベトナム・ハノイ、アルゼンチン・メンドーサにあるホテルで、それ以外は全て改悪。
ポイント購入のキャンペーンなどを利用してポイントを安く購入しても、その価値が薄まってしまいますね。
