When we travel to the UK from Japan we visited the United Club Lounge at Narita Airport(NRT).
There is an another Star Alliance lounge in NRT, ANA lounge though :

About lounge
The United Club Lounge is located close to No.31 gate at the terminal 1.
Inside :
It looks like a Japanese-style lounge.
It was at around 10.00AM when we visited there, it was less busy.
Lots of drinks and foods but the foods does not taste good…
They offered us a family room.
It was very helpful for us.

How to connect to Wi-Fi
You can select “united_club” SSID.
Please follow the guide to connect to the internet.
Choose “Other United Club guests” and fill in the password.

Downloading 10.03Mbps
It was absolutely good.
Really fast one.
Conclusion
I would recommend you to enter there, rather than ANA lounge if you travel with your child(ren) as they would offer the family room, which is good for you.
