2017年、サウジアラビア政府が外国人への「観光ビザ」の発給を初めて計画していることがわかりました。
これまでは、サウジアラビアへ入国するにはビジネスやイスラム教聖地への巡礼などに限られていたんですが、サウジアラビアは原油輸出依存の経済構造の変革を図っていて、観光業の振興はその柱の1つとなっているため観光ビザの発給に至ったようです。
また、25歳以上の女性も、一人での旅ができるようになります。
そこで気になるのが航空券の価格。
日本からだとだいたい、エコノミークラスでJPY120,000くらい〜で行くことができるようです。
それでは、マイレージを利用して行く場合は、どの航空会社のマイレージプログラムを利用するのがお得なんでしょうか？
ちょっと調べてみました。

スターアライアンスメンバーのフライトを使ってサウジアラビアへ行くには
サウジアラビアで一番大きな空港は、ジッダ(JED)です。
JEDへ就航しているスターアライアンスメンバーで日本から乗り継ぎが比較的楽なのは、
・エチオピア航空(ET) : 香港(HKG), アジスアベバ(ADD)乗り換え
・ターキッシュエアラインズ(TK) : イスタンブール(IST)乗り換え
・エジプト航空(MS) : カイロ(CAI)乗り換え
辺りです。

まとめ
まとめると、
・スターアライアンスメンバーのフライトを利用する場合は、TKマイレージ
となりそうです。
ETマイレージも、必要マイレージ数が少ないですね。
ただ、マイレージをフライト以外で貯めるとなるとTKもETもなかなか難しそうです。
